Donald Steele
Don has 45 years of business management and commercial, investment and merchant banking experience. Prior to founding Mercantile he was the Managing director Capital Markets for a domestic investment bank and Regional Director for an international investment bank. From 2004 to 2020 he was Chairman and CEO of an international bioenergy enterprise.
Erik Dysthe
Erik has been on the advisory board of Mercantile since 1994. For the 25 years prior to 1993 he held various senior management positions in the petrochemical industry. Between 1993 and 2010 as Chairman/CEO he founded, developed and sold a world leading technology company. Since 2010 he has been an active investor in and advisor to many early stage technology companies.
Jonathan (Jay) Steele
With 20 years of experience in retail industry operations and location development, Jay is a results-oriented leader driving innovation and growth. Having held Director roles at various billion dollar public companies, he has overseen a multitude of functions within these organizations, including strategic planning, financial management, labor optimization and KPI achievement. Since 2019 Jay has worked on a variety of Mercantile projects.
